Silicon Legal represented Munich Re Ventures and J-Impact as they joined Found Energy’s $12 million Seed round.

Found Energy is building rechargeable aluminum fuel power systems aimed at eliminating carbon emissions from heavy industrial applications.

The round included investments from, in addition to Munich Re Ventures and J-Impact, Autodesk Foundation, GiTV, Glenfield Partners, Good Growth Capital, Kompas VC, and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.
