Silicon Legal represented Munich Re Ventures as they joined Amplify Life Insurance’s $20 million Series B round.

Amplify is developing a platform that allows users to use their life insurance premiums to invest in public equities and alternative assets.

The round was co-led by Crosslink Capital and Anthemis and included investments from, in addition to Munich Re Ventures, Moneta Ventures, Evolution Ventures, and Greycroft.

Silicon Legal’s Munich Re Ventures client team includes Ryan Southerland, Ian Peck, Andre Gharakhanian, Kevin Morrissey, Adam Derry, Madelyn Tarr, Larry Suh, and Vishal Ganesan.
